More about our Keynote Speakers:
Ruth Lockett has been part of family businesses for the majority of her life. Starting with her father at Al Good Sand and Gravel, to where she is now, an owner of Tim Hortons in Prescott (since 1995), with multiple businesses in between. She has been a constant contributor to her community through various committees. Her involvement is vast and has included: The Alzheimer’s Foundation, The Brockville General Hospital Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Brockville Women’s Network, and currently, a council member for the Town of Prescott.
Lisa Lockett graduated with a Bachelor of Administration from Lakehead University and is also certified as a Teacher of Adults through St.Lawrence College. She started with the family Tim Hortons business in 2004 after gaining experience at SCI in Brockville (until it closed) and as a stay at home parent. As her family grew so did the opportunity to become involved in the community. Not only is she recognized from working at Tim Hortons but also from time spent volunteering at various events.
